Earlier in her career, she served as the BMA’s Director of Operations from May 2013 to April 2015.

Lespere first joined the BMA in 2004 as an Assistant Director, and has held a variety of roles of increasing seniority before her most recent appointment as Deputy CEO.

Prior to the BMA, she spent almost nine years with insurance and reinsurance broker Aon, having started her career at PwC as a Senior Accountant.

As Deputy CEO of the BMA, Lespere takes on a number of responsibilities, including providing executive leadership and strategic direction concerning the authority’s operational, human capital, and regulatory policy implementation.

Lespere’s new role follows the promotion of Craig Swan to CEO of the BMA in October of last year, which came after the announced departure of Jeremy Cox.
